    Loos was a
    pioneering screenwriter and playwright, best known for her novel "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," the
    basis of the classic 1953 film musical starring Marilyn Monroe and
    Jane Russell.
    This version of the play premiered at the Garrick Theatre, London in 1966, featuring
    Glynis Jones and Keith Michell in the leading roles and was directed by Peter Coe.
