    Description

The American Motors Family Album: A Pictorial Roll Call of the Passenger Cars, Commerical Vehicles and Trucks Produced By American Motors and Its Predecessor Companies
I'm Ben List, the seller...as you see, this beautiful, hard-cover photographic/historical compendium of AMC from Hudson & Nash up to the print date 1976, is signed by the author and dedicated to my dad, Daniel List, Freelance Automobile Writer and Circulation Manager of The Village Voice.  John Conde and he were friends, and it is John Conde who put this beautiful 184 page album together.  Dad was life-long member of the HET club, and owned many antique cars over the years, at least 1/2 dozen of which were Hudsons.  He had, at one point, 36 antique automobiles stored in the NYC area, and had a thriving business in the 1960s and 1970s renting out his cars for movies and advertisement.  The name of his business:  The Obsolete Fleet.  LOTS of his his cars in The Godfather (1), especially in the parking lot during the famous wedding scene.
I spent my youth in the back seat of dad's 1954 Hudson WASP, or the front seat of a black, steering-wheel based stick-shift AMC Hornet...and am now surrounded by boxes of HET memorabilia...including this listing.
