    Description

This is a classically handsome sterling silver creamer with a sturdy but delicate-looking handle.
There are hallmarks for Peter, Ann, and William Bateman's 1802 London work under the pouring spout. There is also an early owner's mark (E R*M) on the base.
The piece weighs 4.2 Troy ounces and measures 4 1/2" tall, 5" from pouring spout to handle, and 2 1/2" wide across the top. The base is ovoid, approximately 2 1/2" x 2".
    Condition:
There is minor surface wear commensurate with age and use, as well as a few tiny dents on the lower third and multiple scratches on the base (the scratches are only visible when the creamer is turned upside-down).
