An antique Sterling Silver Creamer and Open Sugar from Redlich & Company.
We are pleased to present this antique Creamer and Open Sugar for your consideration. They were manufactured by
Redlich & Company
, and are pattern #2791, a simple design with clean lines that will add a touch of elegance to any occasion.
The Creamer has a 2-3/8 inch diameter base and stands 2-3/4 inches high (measured to the top of the handle). It weighs 71 grams. There are a few stubborn spots of tarnish at the bottom, along with a couple of slight bumps along the side, but the overall condition is very good.
The Open Sugar also has a 2-3/8 inch diameter base and stands the same height as the Creamer. It weighs 71 grams as well. It has one slight bump along the side, about 1/3 of the way up from the base. Some areas of tarnish remain (on the underside of the handles for example), but most of the surface has a mirror like shine. We rate its condition as very good to excellent.
Both pieces have the
Redlich
mark,
STERLING
, and the pattern number
2791
on their underside (see pictures). Their combined weight is 142 grams (4.6 troy ounces).
