Description

Up for consideration a lustrous, well struck, exquisitely toned French Indo-China 1900-A 10 Centimes, graded PCGS MS64. Cartwheel luster. Fantastic eye appeal — on a scale of 10, I would give it a 9. The tone is a light gold, yielding to tan, with an additional, subtle pinkish tone (mostly on the reverse), plus a sea green tone (mostly on the obverse). I’ve included the PCGS photo because it shows the great detail, and also the green on the obverse, better than I can. However, the PCGS photo overstates the red. The actual tone is more subdued than PCGS makes it appear. Destined to be a centerpiece of an advanced collection of French Indo-Chinese coins.
