When you purchase the listing, please send me a message letting me know which finish you'd like for your piece. This dagger is available in three finishes right now and more will be added in the future:
If you look at Picture 4 with them laid on a luxurious, genuine Krampus fur pelt, the styles are:
Top: Ancient Bone
Middle: Hot Lava
Bottom: Dark Bronze
I can paint them up for you in different color schemes upon request or do sets of these with the same finish. Discounts are available for larger orders with the same finishes, just message me for details.
Roto-cast in polyurethane resin to keep the weight between 10-14 ounces, making them light but still extremely durable.
They measure 17 inches from the pommel to the tip in a straight line and 22 inches along the outer curve of the horn. Impressive size without being too big to easily display on a bookshelf or desk when not being carried or used to fend off bands of marauding orcs.
This piece came about because of a trade between a dear friend of mine and myself.
Erica: You know that nerdy werewolf character I have in the D&D campaign I'm in?
Me: The one with no hair and allergies?
Erica: Yep that's the one. Well he just killed a demon and I want to see what you think a demon horn dagger would look like.
Me: OOOOOOooooooooh deeeemon dagger! That would be perfect as I've been playing a bit of Diablo III and those forms are stuck in my head.
And so I got to work.
This piece would be a great addition to anyone's display collection as something very unique. Which is what collection is all about! It also fits in well with any Renaissance faire costume or for you LARPers out there.
Any cosplay calling for some fun accessories to add interest would be enhanced by one or six of these hung on your costume.
Diablo, StarCraft, World of Warcraft Cosplay...this fits right in!
Warhammer & 40k players or cosplayers...you took this off of a particularly vicious Chaos Demon.
Lord of the Rings: you killed a baby Balrog...I need to sculpt a baby Balrog soon!!
Great for an award or trophy for D&D players too.
Give it as a gift to a DM that you really appreciate.
Keep it for yourself and act ridiculous in your own home like my wife Lara (she's the one holding the daggers in the pictures) and I do.
Be a kid at heart. Seriously. Just look fabulous doing it :)
Thanks for reading all of this and for looking at my art. Please share it if you can't afford it!
