Hallmarks of silversmiths Daniel & John Wellby of London, with a date stamp of 1900, placing it at the end of the Victorian era just before Edwardian.
Exquisite craftsmanship with a lovely low wide profile.
Quite heavy, weighing 821 grams, including wood handle and lid knob.
11 1/2” long, 6” wide and 6” tall.
No damage to the silver. The lid knob has a few splits due to age, and the lower handle mount is loose.
