Presented is an antique, sterling silver creamer/milk pitcher and sugar bowl/dish for a tea set made by Samuel Kirk & Son during the late 1920s or the very early 1930s. The set is done in the lovely Repousse pattern, which was patented in 1828. Each piece is beautifully hand chased with detailed flowers and leaves. This is a really wonderful quality set that would look great with any Art Nouveau style teapot.
The underside of each piece is marked S. Kirk & Son Inc, sterling, 418F and hand decorated.
This set is in fabulous overall condition for its age and the designs are very crisp.
The creamer measures 3 5/8 inches from handle to spout and is 2 5/8 inches tall.
The sugar bowl measures 4 3/4 inches from handle to handle and is 2 3/4 inches tall.
Total weight: 252 grams or 8.9 regular ounces.
